  Black Rock Tree Stump Removal... Is there such a business? Does anyone know of a neat and professional individual who is for hire to remove the tree stumps? I don't want to wait 5 years for the city to do it.. I want to plant a new tree this spring.

  last year I used an arborist named Stacey Marcell to trim a white birch and treat some shrubs. She owns Northeast Horticultural Services and has a bunch of guys who work for her. Don't know about stump grinding or her prices for that, but she was amazingly knowledgeable. Phone is: 203-375-0553.

  FOR TREE WORK: highly recommend Stacey Marcell of Northeast Horticultural Services. Phone number is 203-375-0553. She is a licensed arborist and educated, professional, warm and friendly. Last year she trimmed, thinned and treated a Whitebirch, trimmed some large shrubs that needed help, and treated an ailing azalea. I don't know how to compare prices. She was originally recommended by a previous Blackrock resident who said that her prices were less than some of the other estimates she had received. Hope this is helpful.
