  Can anyone recommend a good vet who specializes in lameness in the Grand Rapids area? I have a retired gelding that has many arthritis issues, but is generally comfortable and happy. A week ago, he started having difficulty getting around. Regular vet prescribed bute for a week. He responded well, but after a day off is back where he started. He has no job other than to be happy and healthy and live out his years (he's only 16). I just want to make sure he's comfortable.
