We set an appointment for them to meet us by the car at noon (I live over an hour away). I call Morey's to tell them I am there waiting and to help them find the car in the big lot, and they tell me that despite our appointment, they cannot get to me for a few hours. I had to leave for my own other appointments and was not happy. They then told me that if I would leave the keys in the car and drive to their facility, they would purchase the car from me for the same price in cash. I asked them about removing the license plates, since I was not prepared for this and had no tools, but they insisted they would remove the plates for me and turn them in to motor vehicle the next day. I made the transaction and got a dated receipt. I called later that night to ensure the car was picked up - they had it and were happy with it - said they would turn in the plates the next day and mail me the DMV receipt. THEY DIDN'T. I called them 4 times over the next month and was repeatedly told that they were very busy but would turn in my plates ASAP. I don't know if my license plates were put on some other car to commit crimes or they were sitting on a desk, but I had to keep paying insurance on a car I didn't have because without the "plates destroyed" receipt from DMV I could not cancel insurance. During my last call I explained to the receptionist Tina that I was very upset about paying this extra insurance and I wanted my receipt. She assured me she would send a letter for my insurance company to show the car was sold a month prior to the plates being turned in, and that this would relieve me of paying the extra bill. She then sent the DMV receipt without the letter. I called AGAIN to remind her and she emailed the letter. My insurance says she was incorrect and the letter is useless. I have to pay for a month of insurance for a car I did not own while MOREY'S TOWING had my plates and could have put them on a stolen vehicle during that time for all I know. I had tried to be diligent, making an appointment with them for my tow the night before pickup and I still got screwed. UNTRUSTWORTHY AND UNRELIABLE.

  MOREY TOWING 756-1755 if u need a tow and cant find someone to do it its only like around $50 I think it under $50 depends how far its getting towed. just make sure if u use someone that's not a tow company that u do it right cops are really coming down on people not towing without tow bars good luck !
