  Michael R. wrote: We finally decided to upgrade a failing air conditioner (installed in the 90's) and were directed to Gerno Wandtke of Air Renovations by another of his satisfied customers. How fortunate we were! Gerno came and inspected our conditioner, checked the freon and concluded (rightfully so) that we needed a bigger, more efficient unit. We also had been having constant trouble with our furnace each winter and decided to replace it, also. Gerno gave us a bid for both, including three years free labor, for an extremely competitive price. After two days installation, we were set! Gerno had promised that instead of sweltering during the summer (as we had been doing for several years with our old conditioner), he'd give us enough cold air "to blow the birds out of the trees!" He was right! The first night after the installation, I was so cool (a good thing!) I had to put two blankets on the bed! Heaven! In all, Gerno was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and efficient. He explained every facet of our units in detail and followed up with one "checkup" visit (on a weekend!) and, later, a phone call to make sure we were comfortable. His concern and service have been "beyond the call of duty," and I highly recommend him.
