I can't get it out of my head, this is the house I want. It's doable in price and I know my job would transfer me. But I have no idea how I would go about buying a home so far away though. My husband and are thinking about taking a trip up there in the next few months and if the house is still available I'd love to see it. Will a Realtor take us seriously if we talk to one up there? Who should I talk to to make sure everything is snow ready? Cause none of that matters in Texas. Do I sell my current house before? Or move in first? Can a Realtor help me determine how much to put down on this house?

Visit about once or twice, driving through neighborhoods, walking through grocery stores, eating at a local restaurant and ask locals for input. Also, to maximize the amount of equity in your home for your new home purchase you should check out Door.com. They provide a full service for a flat 5 k + 3%buyer. :)
