  How would I go about getting a quote for a new compressor for my ac unit? I've had a company come out and tell me that my unit is shot. They've written up a quote for a whole new unit, and gave us a quote for a new compressor. I'm just wondering if I could get a compressor cheaper. I'd rather not pay another company to tell me what I already know. Just looking for a quote on a compressor as I can't afford a new unit at this time. Any advice would be appreciated
