I called banfield pet hospital and they want $250-300 for exrays and $40 to see her. I don't have that much money. Wondered if there are any vets that may be cheaper? Thank u!

I searched for past posts by people with the same conundrum, but most of those posts are from 1 or more years ago, and as we know, sometimes places can change quickly. Mostly I just need to take her in for her yearly vaccines and a general check-up given her age. We just moved into town (I'm in grad school, woot) so I don't know much about anything here yet. But, I wasn't able to get her into the vet in my hometown before I had to move. I appreciate any recommendations, advice, warnings, or anything of the like. Thanks!

  I've went to bean blossom for a very long time as well. (812)988-7922 They are usually very busy. People come from all around to go to him so if you can't get through just keep calling. It's about an hour drive but its usually worth it just for immunizations alone. There is also usually at least an hour wait time but He's a great vet. Warning..He doesn't talk much because he's so busy. I don't think he does payments but his prices are well under anyone around here. Its always worth checking out tho. Franklin is higher but may take payments.

I can't stand to see him like this anymore and I can't afford much because we have been affected by the government shut down...I won't be paid for work I already did until further notice.   Actually the best vet around price wise is the bean blossom animal clinic. www.beanblossomanimalclinic.com The Vet has been doing it for years, and he is ALWAYS busy, so get there early, and prepare for a few hours wait, especially on a weekend.. My dog needed oral surgery for a damaged tooth causing an abscess, overnight treatment, 1 month of meds and the whole shebang cost me 40-50 dollars.. hes a great vet. its about 45 min south of indy in Bean Blossom indiana, but its worth the trip, and its a great drive.. plus you can check out brown county while you're waiting to be seen.
