If you're considering a metal roof, please don't make the mistake I did by hiring just anyone who merely claims they know about metal. I originally hired a contractor to remove my existing shingle roof and install standing seam metal. I trusted this contractor and this was my mistake. This contractor destroyed my home. I found Steve by referral. During the pinnecle of the summer roofing season, Steve was sympathetic with my struggle and managed to work me into his schedule--at the time, there were seven contracts ahead of mine. The job included disassembling the mess of metal the former contractor attempted to install, repair numerous decking and structural issues and finally installing standing seam metal in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines. Standing seam metal is not pole barn metal. This material requires a very specific skill set and Steve knows this business. Please learn from my mistake. I wouldn't want anybody to experience the pain and frustration I had to endure by choosing the wrong contractor. Steve is a trustworthy professional. I gave him the keys to the property and security system code to work on my home while I was away and I did this without hesitation.
