  Contact Ben, with Ace Sewer Lateral. 510-258-7385 is his cell (price is probably around half of your current quote). Otherwise, PipeSpy is also pretty reasonable 510-465-3000. (FYI, in Oakland, Alameda, Richmond, practically EVERY home that sells has to get a new sewer line due to a federal law protecting the bay = these guys are experts, and that's who real estate brokers use routinely = based on their pricing!).
