Many sick children are now treated in specialist hospitals far away from their homes, as specialist medical treatments are increasingly provided from regional or national centres of excellence.
We provide free accommodation through our 14 Houses across the UK, all in, or near, the grounds of UK hospitals. Families can stay free of charge, for as long as they need to - whether it’s for two nights or two years.
We help over 6,000 families every year
However, there is still a great deal to do. Many families still have to sleep on camp beds or in chairs to stay close to their child in hospital and we are determined to help as many of these families as possible. But we can only do this with your help.
