About us
As owners of Roger's "Pit-Cooked" Bar-B-Que in Hogansville, Georgia, we cater many weddings and events.
Over the years we have been asked regularly, "Where is an economical place to have a wedding, reception, or party?"
Most venues are very expensive to reserve, so we decided to offer our property as a beautiful yet still economical place to gather for anyone to enjoy.
We have a beautiful scenic landscape that includes a grand old American White Oak, a natural pasture, rustic barn poles, wooded trails with primitive camp sites, and a babbling creek.
To accompany our picturesque land we are also developing a quaint little bridal cottage for our lovely ladies and are already offering a billiard suite for the groom and his groomsmen. For the kiddies we have a play area underneath a second American White Oak with a basic playground/tree-house, trampoline, basketball goal, and a sitting area for the folks.
This is a "Do It Yourself" venue which means that if you wanted to show up already dolled and suited up then have your guests sit on the hill by the tree to watch you be wed and everyone go on home, that would be just as fine as having friends and family show up early in the morning to set up and decorate until the service and then having the whole 9 yards afterward with food, drinks, music, friends... and on, and on...
We would love to make any and all events as enjoyable as possible so we have available a preferred vendors list that can help with any and all request you may have.
There is a space for small intimate gatherings as well as large festival type events. The choice is yours. Weddings, Family Reunions, Church Events, Camping, Fundraisers, Turkey Shoots, Skeet Shoots, Corporate Events, Car Shows, Concerts, Holiday Festivals... and anything else your mind can imagine.
