Does anyone have recommendations for nice secluded getaway spots for memorial day weekend? A cabin, lodge, whatever, somewhere on a lake maybe? The guy I've been seeing and I are looking to have a last-minute getaway this weekend but neither of us know the area super well. We've been browsing AirBNB and VRBO to no real avail. Some people would camp, some would want nearby lodging, and some kind of shelter for gathering everyone together for parts of the day. (For next summer late july/early August) Thanks!

  Definitely KVR. There is Wild Things which has a lodge that is reasonably priced and sleeps many people or Kickapoo valley ranch has cabins. Lots of activities and rustic camping or car camping. Shelters or community building for gathering.

  So ... we are getting married the last weekend of September, and are currently considering the possibility of tying the knot on our farm (25 miles east of Viroqua, between Yuba and Bloom City). Does anyone have recommendations for weekend house rentals, where we could put our guests? I am thinking within 10 or 15 miles of our place (which is 20548 Cave Road, Hillsboro). So if you can include an address (if you know it) that would be helpful. Thanks!
