My husband and I barely make enough to feed all of us. My husband is on disability and I am a out of work teacher looking for a new job. We are doing our very best but in this circumstance it's not enough. We currently go to perriville animal hospital, but this surgery is gonna cost like $400. Looking for any suggestions. She gave me antibiotics and told me to keep it warm with hot towels . The vet bill was around $80 and she was better in a week.

They will not charge you if a tooth falls out during the cleaning and the vet herself said she really only charges 80 if she has to work on an extraction (she spent 2.5 hours on a 2 year old labs molar). Mine is going to be more expensive as I have two older dogs and am requesting they do blood work prior to the anesthesia. BTW they are booked for February (I tried) but have appointments in March. The only caveat: Their waiting room is crowded and sometimes smells like pee (but the vet's husband is there almost all the time, cleaning up any new messes on the floor and chatting with people). I hate Banfield and feel they over charge..like waaaay over charge and are only there for the money not the dogs. Does anyone know of a more affordable compassionate vet in SilverLake/South Everett area? My little guys are my furbabies and I am devastated that something might be wrong.
