About us

The beautiful Ampelon Gardens has evolved over 45 years, and is part of a 50 acre property growing rock melons, wine grapes and citrus. The garden, managed solely by owner / operator Margot Mills, is approximately six acres and is divided into several sections. Ampelon has more recently become the venue of choice for bridal parties to hold wedding ceremonies, photographic sessions, and more recently, wedding receptions in the beautiful marqee area. Ampelon Gardens is featured annually as part of the Open Gardens Australia program. Ampelon has hosted a variety of events, and also featured in many national and international publications.
