  A lot of folks use EVA foam to make armor. It's cheap, bulky and can look good at first. But foam tends to get worn and age the more you wear it or move it around. Worbla is perfect for props and armor, and it's fun to work with. You can back it with foam if you want bulk and paint it to look any way you want.
