Does anyone know where to get a laptop screen fixed. That's not gonna charge outrageous prices. My son dropped it and the screen is cracked. Thank you in advance

http://www.screensurgeons.com/ It's DIY, but the screens are inexpensive and it comes with tools as well as a youtube video on how to replace it.
I have a laptop and the screen is cracked and needs replaced because now I have a decent size black spot. I want to get a new screen put on so I don't have to buy a new laptop. Does anyone know around what the expense would be?

My screen broke a few weeks ago and I ordered a new screen from screen surgeons and it was pretty easy to fix myself (and way cheaper then going somewhere to get it fixed)
Looking for someone that fixes laptop screens. Can someone also give me a ballpark cost? I'm trying to decide if it's cheaper to fix or buy a new one.

I use http://www.screensurgeons.com/ to buy all laptop screens i repair for family and friends. they send you a tool kit and have videos to help you do the repair yourself for those who don't know how to. To fix my hp touchsmart 14 sleekbook the screen cost me 81.00 bucks, it was the cheapest i found new. I would never buy a used touchscreen. However, it is cheaper to fix a touch screen then to buy a new one. For non touchscreen laptops the screens do run cheaper.
