They want a little excursion outside of delhi for 3 days , I have been out of delhi for 10 years myself so my sure what to suggest. Would white water rafting in rishikesh be available? Corbette? They arnt looking for luxury more like a 'getting to know my roots' exploring the country/ adventure trip? Could you please suggest places boutique cottages somewhere not more than a 4-5 hot drive!   Hello friends, we are going to plan a trip to Manali/Leh/Ladakh in July/August with our two daughters (8 and 6). Which is the best/most beautiful route? We thought of flying Delhi Manali and back from Srinagar. Does that make sense? We have two weeks in total and no own car. We prefer it relaxed and reasonable. We dont need it luxury but with two kids a bit comfortable. And we are not Indian, means not as stress-resistant as you are ;-) Any advice, experiences, personal tips, places we need to visit, things to do or to avoid, accomodation or driver you could recommend?
