About us
Formed in 2009, The Ruff Diamond Band celebrates the music of Neil Diamond, one of the worlds leading singer / songwriters. From his early song-writing days with such classics as “Solitary Man” and “The Boat That I Row”, through the 70’s & 80’s with no. 1 singles such as “Crackling’ Rosie” and “Sweet Caroline”, Neil Diamonds songs have been a major part of popular music and performed by many of the worlds leading artists & bands. His songs have also featured in films, such as “I’m A Believer” (Shrek), “Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon” (Pulp Fiction) and many TV shows.
Along with Neil Diamonds songs, the band also performs other classics from the decades as written/performed by the likes of Blondie and Bonnie Riatt, to provide a full evenings entertainment and showcase different band members.
