  Lea Rae I was hoping to get some feed back about any pet rescues in the area. I found a cat in a carrier that was left on a sidewalk near my work and I'm pretty sure she needs some medical attention. I noticed a swollen fluid filled spot on her neck that is red and she licks it constantly. I cannot afford any vet bills and do not have room for a cat. Is there any place I can contact to get her help and to find a good home. All of the obvious places to call I'm afraid will have her put down or something. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (M)

  Rude Ranch animal rescue is a no kill rescue, they are in Hardwood, MD..410-798-9559(rescue #) Their clinic is 443-607-6496, will reopen on Jan.7. They are the best, esp. with cats...pls call them, you probably have to leave a message, but they are good at returning calls
