  If you state that your animal is a service dog you can be fined up to $2500 and jail time. I'm not saying you were telling a lie, just that there is a difference in what the animal does. If they kicked you out I would have a talk with the manager/owner. Also talk to New Horizons in PV, an agency for ppl with disAbilities in PV , 772 -1266. A true service dog cannot be excluded from where it's master goes. There is also an ADA agency in Phoenix. It is also a legal matter

  Appeal it. They cannot stop your money while you are appealing it. This happen to me. Also there is a tiny note that you do not have to repay if you cannot. I'm not sure where that is but on one of their papers. I demanded to know what figures they were using. They finally sent me a ton of paperwork but the glaring mistake was on the first page. Call New Horizons Empowerment Center in PV - 772-1266. They are an ILC agency for ppl with disAbilities. No charge. I am not sure if this group can help, I know our ILC helped me in CA. The statement saying you do not have to repay if thee is a mistake may be on the back of the check. See if you have the paperwork from when you started receiving SSI. I have learned over the years that you need to keep any and all paperwork you ever receive from Medicare. SS may try something yrs down the road but if you have the paperwork you can prove your side. I have had to rely on past paperwork many times. After 30+ yrs I have a lot of it. Most places destroy your paperwork/information about you after 10 yrs. I have started to toss but some I do keep. I have learned to just not trust them.

  Westside Baptist on Williams Valley had lessons. Can ask at New Horizons Empowerment Center - 772-1266. They r an agency that help ppl with disAbilities. Have u asked any hearing aid providers - they may know. One day I too will need to learn sign. I have a couple good ASL discs. It is considered a second language (when kids need this in school or college). There r some very good books out there but it is easier in person. Also so many short cuts to sign. If u decide to do YCC, ask the instructor if u can have ur kids there. They may want to charge a little for the kids. They may allow it, may not. I learned to type at about 7 cuz mom took a class and I went with her. I couldn't cause any prob n I didn't. I was given the last typewriter - had blank keys. Yrs later I was so glad I had that one.
