About us
My name is Maranda Hamm, I live in Stratford, Oklahoma. I am a Mom of two beautiful girls Daysha and Brooklyn. Photography has been a passion of mine, an outlet for creativity and relaxation. I love taking my Camera going for a walk or ride. Thru the lens of Camera the world is a magical place. Ever since I was a young girl, I have always enjoyed taking pictures of family and friends. My Mother bought me several cameras growing up. I would take my siblings and cousins dress them up and take pictures. Unfortunately Cameras weren’t digital then and I was on a budget, film was expensive to buy and develop when you are a kid with no job. Needless to say, I don’t have a large portfolio in my younger days.
I am currently enrolled at the New York Institute of Photography and I have also taken several classes at the Area Vocational School. Most of my learning has been just by doing. Once you learn how to use your camera properly and get out of AUTOmatic mode that's the first step. I love taking pictures of Landscapes, Animals, Objects, and of course People.
I will be the first to tell you, I do not call my self a professional. Many people do and they have had no professional training at all. With that being said, you don’t have to get a professional Degree in Photography to be a professional, but there is a lot you must know, have and do to be a professional. You can be the judge of my work and if you like what I do, I would love to work for you. If I can’t do it I will tell you, but I am definitely going to try because that is who I am. If I don’t deliver a good product then you won’t buy it simple as that.
I do have a small Studio nothing fancy, but I enjoy the outside as my Studio too. I look forward to working with you and your family.
