Anyone have any suggestions of safe places to go for ice cream in Lancaster? What about Rita's?

Oooh, oooh! I have a new and exciting answer for this! LOL Less than a week ago I dared to venture into what used to be Maggie Moo's and is now Good Life (same owners, turns out they just wanted to branch out in their own business instead of being part of a chain). I saw a sign on the counter that said, in essence, that they do their best to accommodate for allergies. I nervously asked if they might be able to use a clean scooper and get me some ice cream from the back, from a fresh container that hadn't been dipped from and the girl didn't even bat an eye as she agreed! She confirmed that my choice was gluten free (salted caramel, mmm!) and left the long line of people to go scoop my 'safe' ice cream! I was so impressed! A topping comes with it, but instead of having them crush/mix it in on their contaminated 'bar,' I just got a Butterfinger and ate it separately. I imagine if I would have asked, they'd have provided a way to safely mix the candy into my ice cream. So impressed. I'm definitely going back, and I highly recommend it for the rest of you, too! :) http://goodlifelancaster.com/
