We have a very tame pigeon in our garage who doesn't seem to want to leave. He has got a numbered ring on his leg. I have tried to get him to fly away but he is very stubborn in wanting to stay. Does anyone know where we might contact to try and trace the owner !
i have an injured pigeon
£125 - Reading, England
We have an injured pigeon with damaged wing and side, after some time of staying in the garden we have now encouraged into a cat box. Does anyone have any suggestions where to take him/her??

If the pigeon has a ring on its leg above its clas, then it is a racing pigeon. If you can handle it and span the feathers out on its wing, there should be a number. If you find a number, if you telephone the Pigeon Register on Tel: 01452 713529 they should be able to locate the owner's name and address for you to contact.
Does anyone know of a pigeon club in the Shaw area? I have a ringed pigeon in my garden. It shows no signs of injury and seems well fed. Very thirsty just drank a whole lot of water. Is anyone missing a pigeon and any advice what I should do please?

This is the royal pigeon racing associations phone number : 01452 713529 if you catch the pigeon you will need the ring numbers off its ring and check its wings for any wing stamps which have owners phone numbers on them
Dose anyone know people who keep homing/racing pigeons in the local area? There's one at the Bear Tavern-we were able to catch it on Monday after it came into the pub and Bearwood vets tried to trace the owner and released it after they were unable to, however it came back half an hour later.

If you can see its number then you can report it through this website http://www.rpra.org/
