  Not strictly hiking related, but I need advice: I'm planning a trip to kayak the San Juan islands, in hopes of an Orca sighting. We've been kayaking before but I'd still consider myself a novice. Any suggestions on which island to stay on (we aren't camping and need a motel) and where to rent kayaks from? We probably won't have a car, because of this ferry situation. Thanks!
