An exciting music venue and restaurant for the blues culture and music of America. Housed in a 1909 brick building on the Seattle waterfront, the Highway 99 Blues Club is inspired by the juke joints of The South and neighborhood blues clubs of Chicago. Typical line-ups emphasizes rhythm & blues and include funk, soul, Americana, roots, rockabilly, rock & roll, traditional & insurgent country, gospel, singer/songwriter and performance art.
Recipient of the "Best Blues Club" Award from the Washington Blues Society 2005-2013, Recipient of the "Keeping The Blues Alive" Award from the Washington Blues Society 2010-2013, Evening Magazine's Best of Western Washington award for "Best Blues Club" 2008-2012, and recipient of Comcast-On-Demand, Best in Seattle "Best Blues Club" in 2008.
