Retro chic guesthouse located in the neighborhood of Dorćol on vibrant Strahinjića Bana street, next to bohemian Skadarlija and across the street from Bajloni farmer's market, making it an ideal base from which to explore Belgrade. Only a few minutes on foot from Republic Square (main square), Knez Mihailova (pedestrian street), fortress and park Kalemgedan and many other great sights are only few steps away.
Yugodom is dedicated to Yugoslavia (SFRY, 1945-1991) and its history, aesthetics, culture, art, design, cinematography, everyday life, etc. Name itself comes from 2 words "Yugo" from "Yugoslavia" and "dom" is a Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian word meaning "home" so Yugodom can be translated to English as "Yugohome" or "Yugoslav home."
We are a house showcasing a collection of furniture and decoration design, books, magazines and movie posters from the era. But first and foremost we are a guesthouse - we love to welcome visitors and have guests for few nights or few weeks - that's why we also like to describe ourselves as a Stay-over Museum as we are guesthouse where you stay and sleep. Since every piece is a from the periods of 60's, 70's and 80's it has a character of a preserved, timeless Yugoslav home from the socialist era or a simply of a museum.
We accommodate 1 to 8 person.
Extra services: Airport pick up Laundry service Mini bar
