  Hi there, my brother lives in the Palm Harbor / Tampa area and I wanted to hit up Alafia one visit. Is there a place in the area to rent mountain bikes? Are the trails usually busy? I'd feel sketch going by myself especially after I've seen video of gators on the trail! we don't have that problem in Ohio - ha

  Your best bet may be AJ's bikes and boards in Brandon for rental options. Alafia is always busy on the weekends, but more in a good way. If you want trails to yourself, go on the weekdays. Also check out Balm-Boyette trails near Alafia. Info at www.swampclub.org
