Hello. GM has had my car for over a month, citing the strike as the reason. Does anyone here happen to know a dealership with a 2013 Volt Transmission Bracket? Anyone close to a GM parts supplier who I can pay to ship me one?

Have you tried something like gmpartsdirect.com ? They are a dealership with an online presence, if they don’t list the part call them - they have access to everything any other GM dealership has.
Is there anywhere I can find new ZR2 inner fender liners? RockAuto discontinued the part, and no scrapyard remotely near me has a clean set. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know where I can locally buy a GM pickup side panel for a reasonable price? could be used with absolutely no dents/rust but prefer new. Part # 15244382 and 15244383. Not looking for dealership info because they are priced very expensive. Could buy online for about $550 but am leary about buying online.

I've bought parts from both Rockauto.Com and gmpartsdirect.Com , and have had good success with them, plus they're reputable. Just FYI, if you decide to go the online route. Hard to beat new pricing when it comes to online wholesale
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has, or knows where I can get the thing (I'll call it a spoiler) that the red arrow is pointing to in the picture. Please let me know... I think my Envoy would look great with one.
anyone ever buy a replacement off amazon? mine cracked need a new one. dealer wants to charge rape prices $138.99 per fob lol any suggestions?
Bob D. replied:
First, try Amazon or gmpartsdirect.com. Second, take a look inside the case. The only thing that fails are the tiny solder joints at the battery case. You almost need a magnifying glass. But if you are half decent with electronic projects, soldering it up will save you some bucks. Takes a steady hand, but it can be done.
Okay, so long story short Massachusetts won't pass my truck for the yearly state inspection because I have rot holes between my back doors and the corner of my rear wheel wells. I also will probably need about 2 feet of a rocker panel. The guy doing the work for me can't find any of the parts anywhere so i'm looking into junk yards but haven't found any with what I need so far. Can anyone direct me to a place or website that might have what i'm looking for?
Gary S. replied:
You could try www.gmpartsdirect.com, that's really the only site I know of that may have the parts you are looking for. But what about just repairing the holes, instead of replacing parts?
Hi, I'm looking for a flat hood ornament for a caprice, I saw one a few years ago on a caprice and would like to find one for my car. Anybody have any ideas where I could find one, or has anyone seen...
gmbuyparts.com lists it for about $42 for a new one, but that doesn't say if its actually available or not. If a GM dealer somewhere has one your local GM dealer's parts department may be able to track one down for you. Dunno if you guys are aware but GMPartsdirect.com is JUST a web site bought by a dealership (Flow GM Auto Center). There is absolutely nothing special about their pricing; except for their shipping costs which are absolutely REDICULOUS! -Steve
Actually I mentioned GMBUYPARTS.COM not gmpartsdirect.com . I realize what those two websites are and the shipping charges that gmpd charges are the reason I didn't mention that site. GM buy parts seems to have a bit more realistic shipping charges for a pending order I have with them about $13 on a $117 order. They also seem to have decent enough prices on parts at least when compared to some local GM dealers that are around me. Peter Cordes - pcordes1979@...
I am looking for the outer tie rod for my front driver side. Everything else is in perfect shape and really only need the outer. But as I started looking and searching for the full tie rod for my car...
I search at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/. Once entering your year, make and model, go to "Steering Gear and Linkage" on the left side of the page. Pick a part and then click on "View Illustration" for a good blown-up illustration. Below are prices for outer tie rods alone and tie rod assemblies that include inner t/r, outer t/r and adjuster. Does anybody know of a good realiable online vendor for this? I have been searching all day with no luck. I did however find a Grille for models 85-87, would this fit an 89? Thank you
I think http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ would have it. Tom
anyone know where i can get a new/used or replacement black leather auto trans shift handle. push button broke and dealer wants $130.00
If you can get the part number www.gmpartsdirect.com usually has a good price. Or try a body shop, they should be able to point you toward a good junk yard that deals in newer cars. Brian Kehoe
Anyone out there that can help me find a heat riser for this Skylark. I have looked everywhere and I think I am running out of places to look. Please help. Thanks.
Try http://www.gmpartsdirect.com I don't know how far back they go though... Tom
Greetings All! I've got a '97 Tahoe and A/C problems. We finally got some warm weather up here in Northern MN (the 90 temp 90 humidity variety) and our A/C seemed a bit weak. I took it in assuming...
That's about right for a new compressor and he is also changing the dryer. That's an accepted practice to minimize the amount of moisture in the recharged system. I tried gmpartsdirect.com and it looks like their website is messed up. I was able to get to a link showing AC compressors but I can't get back to it. Email them at customerservice@... and they should be able to get you a price. Wait until you have to replace the transmission. Mine cost me $2400 because it was a GM reman from a local dealer with a 3 year warantee. Mike Reynolds
