Suggestions for safe date night out Hello,
I haven't been to a restaurant since COVID (unless tailgating in the Grindhouse parking lot counts), but I would like to do something special for my husband and I's anniversary next week.
Can anyone recommend a nice-ish restaurant that has wide open outdoor seating and is following all protocols? We would go on a weekday, which may help. I'm not sure what it's like "out there".
Thanks!

My wife and I went to [JCT Kitchen](http://www.jctkitchen.com/) for our recent anniversary dinner. They have a really nice outdoor area, kind of loud with the birds and train tracks nearby, but that's ambiance I guess. The staff was taking the right precautions and the food was great. We went super early, so it wasn't crowded yet. Walked around West Midtown for a while, had some coffee, then came back to our neighborhood and had socially distant drinks with a bunch of friends. (We all met in the courtyard of a neighbor's building, brought folding chairs and drinks, and sat at least 6' apart.)
Looking for restaurant recommendations in Downtown Atlanta for tomorrow and Monday night Coming into town for business and need a good restaurant Downtown. Under $60 a person would be best.

Hmmmm. I used to know Vinings many years ago, but don't know what is "hip" and "outdoor" there now. If you can go a little further South to Howell Mill, give JCT Kitchen a try. It's hip, trendy with a cool upstairs and outdoor bar/dining. Old, renovated warehouse look. Might need reservations, so you might want to call ahead if wanting to dine downstairs. I prefer the upstairs which typically is first come first serve. They have valet. http://www.jctkitchen.com
