  Four weeks out! Need utility provider recommendations... All: Our movers come 4 weeks from tomorrow to pack up our belongings here in DC and move them to Frisco. As we make final preparations, I am looking for recommendations as to the top providers of phone, internet, water, gas, and electric services. We'll be in western Frisco. And by "top" I mean providers with a reputation for good to excellent service, and who don't gouge their customers. I don't need the cheapest provider (you get what you pay for), but I have had terrible experiences with both bad customer service (Comcast) and price gouging/ over billing (Dominion Power) -- so I would like to avoid a repeat of such experiences.   www.pennywisepower.com is who I've used for the past 2 years. I was with TXU and on average billing at $250 per month and I haven't had a bill over $178 with PennyWise. Many of these you need to really look at the fine print and watch when they expire. Notice what they base the cost on and if it is a variable plan.
