  I came home to find my garage door won't open at all, manually or with the opener. One cable is no longer attached (actually, I'm not sure it isn't broken) and the other is really loose. I was going to try figure out how to fix it myself, but the more I read the more dangerous that idea sounds. Saving money is great, but death by garage door doesn't sound fun. Any recommendations? Someone with great prices would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

  Garage door service at 8016378517. He fixed our door awhile back was inexpensive, fast, friendly. It sounds like the spring snapped. Garage doors have giant springs to act as counter weights. They fail then your lifting the entire weight of the door which can be a few hundred pounds. I'm pretty handy and I subbed out this job. It's quite dangerous if it isnt done right.
