  Hard to say without being there but sounds like pcb again....should hopefully be under warranty, hate to give work away but if not under warranty sometimes it works out cheaper to use Baxi (Heateam) as think they charge £260 which covers labour and all parts needed (with the exception of main heat exchanger). So, instead of helping us find the right extended pipe, John lewis simply told us to get it ourselves from somewhere. We did that but their installers came around yesterday and said this pipe wasn't suitable. If I knew what pipe or other plumbing supplies to buy, I would have installed the damn thing myself, wouldn't I?!
