  Bora, if it is a first time visit of tourists, a boat tour of the canals is good. A lot of them start close to the central train station. A very nice Indonesian restaurant is "Kantjil en de Tijger" http://kantjil.nl/ nice chinese restaurants are in Amsterdams China town with Nam Kee famous for its oysters.
