  Does anyone have a tank less water heater? More specifically anyone with well water/hard water? We are looking into switching but have heard hard/well water can ruin them within a year or 2 and don't want to waste the money. We do have a water softener which helps but hoping to get a few local reviews anyway. Thanks!

  We install them all the time. You need to buy a high end unit and have it sized properly. With hard water the heat exchanger should be cleaned annually. I have one at my parents cabin that is on well water and propane and runs great and I installed it in i believe in 2004. If you have ans questions please call us at Westshore Heating 616-837-8088
