  If you visit the fabulous Waste Knot in Arlington, it's less than 10 min to Needlewoman East in Falls Church, which also has an excellent selection of NP projects, as well as charted & lots of fabrics, threads. Both these stores are treasures for those of us lucky enough to be here. If you're really adventuring, there is In Stitches located in Alexandria, near Woodlawn. Huge amount of charts & accessories, not as much NP painted as the others, but still a good amount. Serious trinket fest (magnets, needleminders, thread winders,) and framing, knitting as well. If you're going to Baltimore, it's a fun trip to Bedecked & Bedazzled, plus Needles & Threads of Ruxton (http://www.needlesandthreadsofruxton.com) . The 2 in Baltimore are about 10-15 min apart at most.

  Are there some good needlepoint stores not to miss if I am driving from NYC to Atlanta? I am thinking about a road trip to different needlepoint shops along the highway that I can stop at. Looking for tips where to shop. Some of the cities along the way are Baltimore, Philadelphia, Charlottesville, Danville, Harrisburg, Boone, Charlotte, and I am sure other towns in between.
