My name is Scott McKenzie the owner and operator of South Coast Carpet Cleaning. I started my business in 1985 with a pickup truck and a portable hot water extraction machine. I dedicated myself to learning as much as I could about the carpet cleaning business thru training classes, workshops, trade shows, manuals and monthly industry periodicals. It is important to keep up with the latest trends, techniques, equipment and cleaning products. I have always emphasized quality over quantity.
I enjoy keeping my business small and personable. I rarely advertised. Instead, preferring word of mouth to establish myself. Once up and running, I quickly moved away from my portable cleaning machine (although they do have their niche) and into a full sized van with a truck mounted cleaning system. Every few years I trade up to a better, more powerful and more efficient cleaning system.
My current truck mounted machine is a pro-chem 650 Everest. It is a beast! Producing tremendous water temperatures and extreme vacuum to recover as much water and soil as possible, even on long hose runs. I can at the very least make a bad situation presentable.
Being a one man show I often book out well in advance. All calls are returned same day and cleaning appointments are always confirmed the day before. I always strive to make your cleaning experience as hassle free and as pleasant as possible and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Looking for a local reasonable carpet cleaner? Thanks!
