  Where can someone who doesn't have a FB find a calendar with family events/things to do? Does anyone know of anything going on this weekend? We have a one year old daughter and we don't like to be couped up on the weekends. We've spent the summer hiking and exploring the outdoors, but now that it's a little chillier (and the toddler is a bit less tolerant of that), we're looking for some alternative activities around Pierce Co. We frequently explore thrift and antique shops as well as book stores and the children's museum, but is anyone holding like a flea market or a book fair this weekend? Is there a place I can get like a calendar of these events (aside from FB)? (Like the county website or Sprinker maybe?) I'll do some research also but any suggestions would be great. Thanks! :)

  Hello VCS folks! I plan to pack up the kids after school on Friday and go camping but am undecided on where we should go. The Rogue Valley region seems promising but I'm open to suggestions anywhere within a 4ish hour drive from Portland. Any cool happenings this weekend we might want to check out? Do you know of some good spots for us to camp, free or cheap, whether it be someones backyard or a secluded spot off in the woods? Thanks in advance for all of your helpful suggestions! :)
