  What we need is a listing of reputable contractors for those of us who are not from area and do not know the locals. My family has owned our cottage since the mid 1800's and we want to do what needs to be done to protect our property and the dunes for perpetuity. We have already had an outrageous quote from a "contractor" whose name we found, via Google, that was sentenced to 1 1/2-3 years for tax evasion and for duping customers in 2008. Any advice? Please do tell.

  Michael Wolpert is also repairing the dunes. We hired him to do ours this week. He is local - look under Wolpert Disposal (978) 463-5400. We too have owned our cottage since the 20's. He has done a few round the 260's NEB and was recommended by several agencies.
