  I've used [ValleyKing](http://www.valleyking.com) in the past; $15 for credit check, you tell them what you want, what you will pay, and a general area, and they do the searching for you. They get paid commission from the property you rent from, so nothing (aside from the credit check) comes out of your pocket to them. You still have to apply to apartment/condo/whatever and and do all that stuff, but these kinds of agencies make it a little smoother, less searching work for you.
