  I've seen a lot of people asking for farriers lately. After today, I can 110% recommend Gavin Rees! I've never seen someone so calm or patient with a horse, especially one that isn't amused having her legs fussed with or stood around. Even when my mare had her 'moments' of swinging out her back legs or trying to snatch her legs back, he still held on and let her get on with it and carried on like nothing. No shouting, not a single hit to her, and he has the patience of a saint. 1 hour and 30 mins later, she had all 4 shoes on and a great experience compared to what she's had! Honestly could recommend him to anyone with young horses, first time being shod, or ones who have had awful experiences. Worth every minute and penny! Now have a happy horse :)
