We are thinking a puppy as we have young children and are interested in nice family breeds such as labradors, golden retrievers, but not overly bothered about pure breeds. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we could find a dog from a reputable breeder? Or can anyone suggest appropriate local Facebook groups? Thanks!

  Looking for advice please - I am privately fostering a dog that needs rehoming. Unfortunately he has a high prey drive so I'm not sure he wouldn't bog off after small dogs at Agility - Hence why I haven't put him on here. Apart from that he is ADORABLE. Can anyone advise me on good places to advertise or rescues that would home check and support me through the rehoming process. He gets very stressed in kennels. I need to find a home quickly as my rabbit and cats are feeling rather traumatised and are having to be isolated from him. Any advice really appreciated! Quite a few rescues wouldn't get involved due to the prey drive issue :-(

  Hello, my husband is desperate for a black lab puppy, I too would love one, but my heart really would rather rescue a dog/puppy then get one from a professional breeder. Of course, their is nothing wrong with buying from a breeder, I would just love to give a rescue dog a forever home, one that really needs one. Is there any way we would both be happy and be put on a waiting list for a lab puppy or dog that comes in to any RSPCA homes? I hope this post is ok? Thanks so much xx
