  I always used Hounds Town in port Jefferson Station ...I see that they have one in Farmingdale now! Might not be convenient for you now but when you move to Massapequa they are great! Lexi used to love it there but because she's a diabetic now... they don't give shots ...so I can bring her there anymore Actually, the owner of Hounds Town was your dads friend from SCHOOL, Mike Gould. Check out the website houndstown.com. There's also another website dogvacay.com you could look at the local pet sitters
