They sent out a local company to install it - Wolfer’s Home Services. It’s made such a huge difference! We used to have so many white water stains all over the place. Can’t imagine what the hard water was doing to all of our pipes, and the refrigerator water line. It was about $5,700 installed. But we also got a 5% Costco cash reward card. I recently saw that Costco was doing a 10% cash back card for the same system. This was for the softener & filter system. So a bit more than just a softener.

They are lightweight and fold fairly flat. Check your local Craigslist. You might also be able to rent one from a medical supply place. You can get a sexy leopard print one from Costco.com for $106.

If you can find a special at the Bellagio, Think it is worth it but paying full price I might look elsewhere. Also pro tip, go to costco or Costco.com and buy spa finder gift cards. They are accepted at most spas on the strip. I saved a good amount for me and my wife using the special and the gift cards .

Perfect location. Our kids were 7 and 9. We did 10 days but we wanted downtime as well and it was perfect. We had the 5 day park hopper passes and did a daytrip to Sea World. We rented a car at LAX through Costco.com. It says you have to be a US resident but I did lots of research and many Canadians said they didn't have an issue which we did not. By far the cheapest and it was chearper than if we did a shuttle.

Less demand means it'll be cheaper to travel. Check skyscanner.net for the approximate dates you want to go. Once you see who the cheaper airline is, go to their website direct and look at their weekly or monthly fare calendar it'll show you the cheapest days to fly. Right now Alaska Air is offering $50 off per person if you each sign up for a frequent flier account (it's free). Costco.com has really good discount codes for car rentals. Don't book through Costco. Go to the rental company's website and use the codes there. Avis offers a "pay now" discount for paying at booking instead of paying when you get there. Saved me a lot vs other rental companies.

For 72 hour kits, I actually bought 2 backpacks from Costco.com, one for my car & on for my hubby's car. they were $90 each but enough provisions for 2 people. I felt it was worth as through research, these contained freeze dried food which has a shelf life of 20 years. Also, it has a water bottle with built in filter good up to 100 gallons. You can always add to it a few other items you feel necessary but all in all, a pretty good start that has some longevity to the provisions.

Lisa B. replied:I think you should plan on buying a new fancy Italian Espresso Machine to bring home as a souviner....we just upgraded to a semi automatic but it takes getting used to and I am thinking your outlook on Espresso is going to change soon.... We bought last years model of the Delonghi Magnifica..Costco.com at a little over 500 at Christmas. Upgraded the old Starburks machine but like I say it sounds like a good thing to bring home w/you. The automatic is huge and makes lots of grinding and clicking sounds. You should get something that sounds like when you go to Starbucks not like the Machinery we have every AM grinding and pumping out the shots....happy hunting.

Lots of places near here sell boxes, including U-Haul at Broadway and Sherman Ave., Staples at 184 th or 233 rd; Sofia Storage at 190 th & Bway; Manhattan Mini Storage at 212 th & 10 th Ave.; and the UPS Stores near Dyckman and on 181 st. I'm sure there are others. If you are a Costco member, I found that Costco sells boxes that are 1) very high quality and easy to assemble and 2) much less expensive than local retailers. They are sold via Costco.com and delivered to your door.
