  I'm moving to Koreatown on Saturday. Can anyone recommend some good coffee shops for working and restaurants for eating alone? The eating alone is mainly because it will be nice to have some cool eating spots for after-work to eat alone sometimes without feeling awkward. EDIT: Thanks for the recommendations so far! I'm saving these on a docs list and am excited to start exploring this weekend. Keep 'em coming! Any awesome bars/pub recommendations would be super appreciated too!

  Hello fellow Leafers. I probably only know a few of you on here. I was a counsellor for only one summer in 96 -you may remember me as Racer. I'm one of the many Aussies that seem to have been part of the Cloverleaf tradition over the years. The reason for this post is that I've got a trip planned for July this year with a couple of friends and We will be in San Fran for 6 nights from 23-28 July. I was hoping for a couple of things from this group. 1. Any suggestions for great places to go out, we'll be there over the weekend. Plus, my other friends are going to LA on the morning of 27 so I've got a couple of nights on my own, if anyone is local and remembers me and would be up for a drink is love to catch up. Happy to receive group response here or PM me. Thanks guys. I'm pretty excited to be heading back so close to Santa Rosa. I haven't been back since summer 96. I hope to hear from some of you. Cheers.   Hi Penny! When I lived there I was still an adolescent/youth, so I won't be able to contribute any "night life" suggestions 😄. During the day, however, I remember these places fondly: - Tidepooling (there are lots of beaches where you can do this, I think we used to go to Pescadero Beach) - Monterey Bay Aquarium - SF Zoo - Fisherman's Wharf: • Pier 39 (Scoma's was a family favorite restaurant) • Ghirardelli Square (try the Ghiradelli ice cream at the chocolate factory) - Chinatown - Golden Gate Park: • Muir Woods I hope you have a fun trip!! If anyone in the group is interested in doing a walking food tour, I have heard great things about Avital Tours http://avitaltours.com (she happens to be an old schoolmate)
