This company appears to be just a dispatch company for anyone available to attempt to do handyman work, but they represent themselves as a handyman repair service. Again BEWARE! Entirely based on an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, we contracted Andy OnCall to do several items in our home . Our first alert was on day one . The security gate called my wife to allow Andy OnCall thru the gates to do work and the security company said that Honey Do was here can they allow them in ? Honey Do ? Who is that? Well when Joe, the apparent supervisor whom was always our contact person at Andy OnCall was called and quizzed he stated “Andy and I are partners .” We later find out that Andy is no such person but a franchise name available to anyone who pays the price to use it.That being said we initially believed Joe, that he was Andy’s partner and my wife allowed the work to begin. 3 bathrooms to re re-grouted caulked and sealed , attic storage flooring to be nailed down, glass backsplash tiles to be installed and grouted in the kitchen plus a bathroom cabinet repaired and some curtain rods hung. My wife upon observing the first guest bathroom being caulked ,not re-grouted , that the caulk was several shades darker and looked horrible. Joe says oh, no problem ,we will be here tomorrow morning with the correct color and all will be good .Oh, by the way he tells her, the attic will need more wood and that will cost you another $130. Surprise! My wife calls me , very upset about what has already happened , I tell her just go ahead with the attic ,they are already there. They finish the kitchen tile , grout it and my wife tells Joe that several areas are missing grout in the kitchen. Oh no problem proclaims Joe. We will get that tomorrow morning when we correct the caulking in the guest bathroom. By the way we’ll be there bright and early boasts Joe ,8 am that is.……Well Joe and crew roll in at around 9:30 the next morning, they try the new matching caulk ,it doesn’t match either , they nail down the $130 worth of wood we now needed and Joe says oh well ,we can’t match the caulk and by the way you’ll have to call a cabinet company to get the cabinet fixed .Another panic call form my wife, I said just pay them and get them out of the house before they damage more items. She calls right back and tells me ,too late , they have already started re-grouting the master bath and it too looks much darker. Again Joe assures , no problem , when it dries all will be good . They finish , then all agree not to touch the other guest bath and Joe graciously reduces our bill by $75, yes $75 for not doing the third bath or matching the second bathroom.. Another panic call from my wife . Again I tell her just pay them and get them out .She does .Next morning the master bath grout , one dry, is still multi -colored and not the same color as declared by Joe , when it dries it will match. The new kitchen tile is still missing grout and now we notice several areas are bulging out. Here we go again. An immediate call to Joe and once again , we are assured by Joe that he will call back ,get it fixed right away and all will be good .That was almost two weeks ago No Joe ,no call , just a mess that will cost thousands to be repaired . Avoid the nightmare avoid ANDY ONCALL…………..
