  Seeking Recommendations for Wedding DJ (x-post from /r/WeddingPlanning) My fiancée and I are getting married in June 2020 and are running into trouble selecting a DJ. We know that we don’t want the typical club-style “Jersey Shore” guy harassing people onto the dance floor. Fist pumping and air horns are undesired. Has anybody in the area had luck finding somebody who is a bit more understated, but is still able to keep the crowd from getting bored? We’re essentially looking for a guy or girl who can serve as the master of ceremonies, keep people having fun, but otherwise sort of blend into the background. If anybody has recommendations we’d love to check them out!
