Does anyone know of any good youth groups in the area (other than 4-H) for a high school age girl?

It just requires you believe in God whatever your religion. They raise money every year at the Jobs Daughter Corn Dog Booth at the Nevada County Fair, the most popular spot at the fair! I was a Jobs Daughter, you have lots of fun, serve your community and help people. We used to put on "shows" at senior facilities, give them little homemade presents, visit with the children at Christmas at the Shriners hospital. You learn about women power and sharing and caring. The best experience in my youth. I was also very shy and learned to speak out at meetings, sing loud in the choir, go to great events with my fellow girls, skiing, campfires, hiking. Always encouraging and the parents are encouraged to participate. It gave me self-confidence. https://www.facebook.com/FriendsOfAuburnJobsDaughters
