  We have just moved to the area and are looking at preschools and schools for our daughter. Can anyone recommend any in particular. Also if there are any you would avoid? We are also mindful of the advantage of going to the preschool attached to the primary she might attend. Although I understand that is another minefield! We are in the catchment for the C&E school but are also keen to consider others so any feedback would be great! I don't want to offend anyone so happy for you to PM me if you have negative feelings on any in particular. Unfortunately we don't know anyone locally that have attended the local schools so we are slightly clueless and the Ofsted reports are much of a muchness! Many thanks!

  Woodley Preschool, situated at Woodford park, have a small number of vacancies available. Please feel free to give us a call on 07773 256050. We have an open door policy, so you are more than welcome to pop in for a visit. We are open every week day morning, 9.30 until 12.30.

  Hiya. I would recommend contacting local schools and ask for a visit - that will allow you to get a 'feel' for the school. (Do come and visit us at Beechwood - it is a great school!) Woodley Pre-School is based in Woodford Park and they are brilliant. Both my kids went there before going across to Ambleside Nursery and they loved it.
