  Any one know a good electrician that won't discriminate because it has to go through BC Disability? We called Evitt electric in July to get a quote to have a house rewired through BC Disability. BC Disability needs three written letter head quotes before they will approve the work. Evitt Electric came out to the house ok, did the walk through ok, but when we called them today to ask when we could get the written quote, they refused to give it to us as Evitt Electric is now saying they don't want to deal with BC Disability. And refuse to give the quote they already came out to do. All they have to do is write it up. This is not right. It is disability discrimination at its finest. We have one quote already but need two more before it can be submitted to BC Disability.

  when i needed my house rewired, two places never even called me back. three did AND showed up for a quote. out of those three- only one actually did the quote and got back to me. brad from alberni electric did an amazing job for me. kept in touch and fit me in quickly so as to make the insurance ppl happy, was on time, on budget and even phoned me the last day to ask if i wanted my dog left in or out of the house. for that...i recommend him to everyone. the other companies in town that couldn't be bothered to be professional will never get my business and i've shared my experience with them with others who have asked. best wishes..hope u get the quotes.
