About us

Francobolli, Italiaans voor postzegels, is een bijzondere koffiezaak.
Je kunt bij ons koffie drinken én bijzondere ansichtkaarten kopen, schrijven en versturen.
Bestel een cappuccino, een latte of een verse muntthee met een lekker taartje, kies een kaart uit de grote verzameling
waar de wanden mee bedekt zijn en schrijf hem. Al schrijvend kijk je door de grote ramen naar voorbij varende bootjes of de mensen die langskomen.
In de zomer kun je, in de zon, op de kenmerkende rode of groene stoeltjes voor de deur of aan het water zitten.

I'm writing because I'm looking for a place where I can go work on my research (wifi needed) for a few hours, have tea, coffee, maybe lunch, take it easy without having the waitress harassing me to leave (or maybe that doesn't happen here, I don't know). I'm working on research in cafes as well at the moment - if you ever feel like a work morning together one day (with coffee breaks), just let me know! Usually I work at the university library, Francobolli, or Bagels & Beans.
